The following sights and attractions can be quickly reached from the hotel: the city’s landmark of Hohensalzburg Castle, the famous Getreidegasse shopping mile, Mozart’s birth house, the magnificent Residenz, baroque Salzburg Cathedral, the Festival Hall, Mirabell Palace and gardens, the Haus der Natur nature museum and the Museum der Moderne on Mönchsberg mountain high above the rooftops of the city.
Some attractive destinations in the surroundings are also conveniently located: Hellbrunn Palace with its trick fountains, Leopoldskron Palace, the Salt Mine and Celtic Museum in Hallein, the ice caves in Werfen, the Krimml Waterfalls or High Tauern National Park.
Recreational athletes will love the more than 1,200 km of bicycle routes through Salzburger Land, hiking trails on Untersberg and surroundings, 18 golf courses in the region, water sports on 163 lakes, or the winter sports world of Amadé, all just a few kilometres from Salzburg.
