About Cracow

Time simply flows differently in Cracow. Every hour spent here becomes a piece of history. For centuries, Cracow was the capital of Poland and the seat of the Polish kings, a place which attracted scholars and artists from all over the world. Their genius is evidenced by the many treasures of art from different periods of European culture. This wealth was one reason why in 1978 Cracow was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The hotel is a good base for walking the city and discovering theatres and museums, Wawel Castle, the Main Market Square or the former Jewish quarter of Kazimierz. The world-famous Wieliczka Salt Mines are not far from the city (about 17 km south-east of Cracow).

An attraction for families is the Aquapark, which offers hours of fun and play swimming, splashing and diving. Poland’s largest water adventure park is also one of the largest aquatic fun parks in Europe.
