Baumschlager & Eberle is an international working architect office, which is acting primary in the area of planning and constructions from gated communities and energy – saving building.
It was founded from Carlo Baumschlager und Dietmar Eberle in Lochau near Bregenz. After the beginning in Vorarlberg – with focus on residential – the office is now advertenced internationally with stand rentals in Lochau (A), Vienna (A), St. Gallen (CH), Zürich (CH), Vaduz (FL) and Peking.
Since the foundation 1985 the office realized more than 300 buildings. To the major project in recent times counts the airport expansion Vienna, a big hospital in the belgian city Kortrijk, huge buildings in Peking and the WHO/UNAIDS- building in Geneva. Baumschlager & Eberle are trying, over the quality of the envelope to reduce the fielding of technical systems for the air – conditioning.
